Hello! I'm César, a software developer based in Gainesville, FL. I enjoy developing applications; everything from web applications to chatbots to virtual reality experiences. I believe in building software that changes the way that organizations work and provide a unique perspective of how to harness the power of technology to improve day-to-day tasks.

I'm a Computer Science major at the University of Florida, and will be graduating in December 2019. My professional experience includes working as part of a small team in a local start-up to working as part of a large team in an multinational enterprise.

  • Aided in testing and deployment of enterprise resource planning software at a life science corporation.
  • Organized requirement traceability matrix documents using user and functional requirement specification documentation.
  • Managed and oversaw project cutover tasks for user acceptance testing and defect resolution.
  • Reviewed user training material and job aids to be used for live user training.
  • Developed a web application to help corporations connect their employees to non-profit organizations by empowering employees to influence the corporate donations to non-profit organizations.

  • Created a Microsoft Teams chatbot to retrieve Knowledge Base articles via the Service Now API.
  • Built a chatbot to help users search through corporate acronyms and abbreviations to ease communication.

  • A web application for the University of Florida's Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. MemberSHPE UF helps the organization keep track of its attendance records and provides data analytics of the organization's members. Additionally, members get an accurate depiction of their points - used for our reimbursement system for attending the national convention. It also gives members the opportunity to connect with industry professionals via our alumni network. MemberSHPE focuses on enhancing the experience of our members, alumni, and corporate sponsors.

Human Eyes Design

  • A virtual reality application designed to aid architecture and interior design students to take into consideration special needs users - such as wheelchair users and individuals with different vision impairments. Human Eyes Design helps users experience their 3D Computer Aided Design models in virtual reality while experiencing their designs through the shoes of wheelchair users, individuals with cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. The application is designed to not only educate future architects and interior designers, but also aid in building empathy towards the needs of special needs user.
